Gangnman Style

A nice touch here at the LAX international boarding area is the kiosk of power outlets so travelers can hang out and play with their smartphones while charging up.

Oh, and as long as the smartphone subject has been introduced, that term really means iPhone. Everyone who actually whips out a phone to surf and email appear to be using Apple devices. No android devices that I can see.

Not surprising really. My one year android experience with a Samsung device taught me to stick with the essentials -- talk. Once I finally got an iPhone I discovered that it was actually useable as an Internet device. The android device was the source of countless aggravations starting with buggy applications, moving to connectivity problems (the default email app refused to play nice with my Roadrunner accounts) to hardware shortcomings (the delay between a keystroke and seeing a CHAR on the screen was truly unacceptable, and I'm a slow typist.)

Not the best picture, but this thing had about ten outlets and every one was filled with a device
